Multi-Level Marketing (MLM)
Enabling MLM will allow your partners to invite other people to join your program and their affiliate network. You can create a maximum of ten levels in the referral tree.
Check out our video tutorial, or keep reading our article for an in-depth description of MLM setup:
Commission calculation methods
We support two different ways to calculate MLM commission:
1. Percentage of the sale commission - the level commission is calculated as the percentage of a sale commission
2. Percentage of the order value - the level commission is calculated as the percentage of an order value
Example MLM tree
Here's a screenshot of an exemplary MLM network
EXAMPLES:
1. Percentage of the sale commission
Commission level 1 - 50%
Commission level 2 - 20%
Commission level 3 - 10%
MLM Jessica's customer makes a $100 order. MLM Jessica will gain her commission according to her program's settings (partner reward), as an example, let's say it is 10%. That way:
MLM Jessica gets 10% * $100 = $10.
Jake Smith will get 50% of the value of MLM Jessica's commission, which is 50% * $10 = $5.
Jack Smith will get 20% of the value of MLM Jessica's commission, which is 20% * $10 = $2.
Default Parter will get 10% of the value of MLM Jessica's commission, which is 10% * $10 = $1.
2. Percentage of the order value
Commission level 1 - 10%
Commission level 2 - 5%
Commission level 3 - 2%

MLM global setting
To start building your MLM program, go here and mark Multi-Level Marketing enabled as checked.
NOTE:
This is a global setting, you also need to enable MLM for a specific program or partner in order for it to work.
Enabling MLM for a program
You can auto-activate MLM for every partner that signs up to a particular program. To do that, open your program settings, and look for Multi-level marketing enabled by default.
NOTE:
We strongly recommend setting up your MLM program in your default program, as both Post-Purchase Modal and affiliate network invitation links direct people to the program with default status.
Enabling MLM for a partner
To enable MLM for an individual partner, select the one you need from your Partners list, and click the Edit Partner button:
In the Multi-level Marketing section, check the Multi-level marketing enabled box.
Once you've enabled it everywhere, your partners will have access to their MLM network from their Partner Portals.
They also receive their own partner registration link.
People using that link will see who they have been referred by.
Well done! Now you know everything about the GrowtHero's MLM feature,
